Old Navy Beach Bum Party

   One of my favorite perks  from Crowdtap is being a member of the Old Navy Style Council. Every season they have sample and shares and parties.  The Old Navy Beach Bum Party  I got to be a part of has been my favorite thus far.  I got to take 3 people to Old Navy with me to try our their Beach Accessories  and we all got to take home 4 things for FREE! I took my sister , niece and daughter. My niece was the only one willing to have fun taking pics with me though .  I made a video montage [not the greatest quality though] showing the fun we had , you can view it below .

What's A Freaky Pet?

 I am sure many of you have seen my posts about Freaky Pets Giveaways. Have you been wondering just what exactly IS a freaky pet?  I was too until I received mine in the mail this past Friday.  I must say, this pet is pretty darn FREAKY! His name is Dinork
 I know what you're thinking .. "It's not THAT freaky. " Just as I thought.   The pet felt pretty bulky , so I turned it around and saw that it had an opening in it's back ...
I became a little nervous about what I would find when I opened his back... So, I opened it very slowly and carefully .
[I think I had my 9 yr old step son a little freaked out as I was making such a big deal about it]
Here is what I found:

This has to be one of the coolest.. and FREAKIEST plush toys I have ever seen. 
Logan says the "Evil" one looks Demonic .. I showed him his vivid red eyes in this picture and told him  the Freaky Pet must be wearing off on him lol.

July Holidays: How Many Will You Celebrate?

In case you missed my earlier post, or haven't seen any other people or pages talking about today's holiday , today is National I Forgot Day ! I am so glad there is a holiday especially for this , and I am using it to my full advantage . My 9 year old has begun to get aggravated with hearing me say "I Forgot!" today [insert evil grin]. Our latest celebratory convo:
  • Me: Oh! Logan .....I forgot!
  • HIM: "What?"
  • Me: "I forgot"
  • HIM: "Forgot what?"
  • ME: "I forgot  .. that's today's holiday"
  • HIM: "What is?"
  • ME:" I forgot"
  • HIM: "No, seriously"
  • ME:" I . FOR-GOT "
  • HIM [getting kinda testy] : Well maybe you need to see a DR because you have been forgetting ALL day!
  I am afraid that my antics with I Forgot Day today may lead to him taking full advantage of tomorrow's holiday which is Disobedience Day . I sure hope he doesn't decide to celebrate it or he will also be celebrating Stay out of the Sun Day.
